Pagano, Ph.D.
Anthony Pagano is an associate professor of Management at
the University of Illinois at Chicago His research and
consulting has spanned several areas including
privatization of public transportation, measurement of the
output of government and service organizations, quality of
service measurement in public transit, economic impact
analysis, and organizational consolidation and relocation
analysis and the development of social indicators for
business. He is the author or coauthor of over 85 articles,
technical reports, books and book chapters and papers
presented at professional meetings.
Dr. Pagano has served as President of the Chicago Chapter
of the Transportation Research Forum, member of the TRF
National Council, and Academic Vice President of the
national organization. He also served as co-founder and
Co-General Editor of the Journal of the Transportation
Research Forum which publishes articles of interest to
academics, policy makers and practitioners. He serves as
Executive Director of the Metropolitan Transportation
Association which is an association of private transit
operators in the Chicago metropolitan area.
