Bassett, Ph.D.
Gilbert Bassett is Professor of Economics at the University
of Illinois at Chicago, where he specializes in
Econometrics. Dr. Bassett has made fundamental theoretical
contributions in the areas of regression quantiles and
robust estimation which could occur as rate issues, and he
is in addition an outstanding applied econometrician. He
has also performed extensive research in assessing the
potential economic impacts of storing high level nuclear
waste material. Dr. Bassett holds a Ph.D. degree from the
University of Michigan.
