Cory
Lanker, Economist
Mr. Lanker is an economist at RCF where he works on a
Department of Energy project which considers market
penetration scenarios for a hydrogen vehicle economy. Cory
was educated as an engineer at Ohio State where he received
B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering. At Ohio
State, Cory was a graduate research assistant at the
ElectroScience Laboratory and at the Mixed Signal
Electronics Laboratory, where he did electromagnetics and
microelectronics research, respectively. For three years he
was an applications engineer in IBM’s Microelectronics
Division where he assisted customers to design and
manufacture microchips. Before coming to RCF, Cory received
his economics education from the University of Chicago,
where he did research under Professor James Heckman on the
benefits of preschool education.
